Office 365 E1 Trial License

Pandemic / Business Continuity / Remote Access / Telecommute

Office 365 E1 six (6) months Free Trial Licence

In response to the ongoing impacts worldwide, Microsoft has shared their commitment to customers during COVID-19, making Office-365 E1 and Microsoft-365 Business Basic (includes Teams) freely available for all New Office-365 Customers for a trial period of six (6) months.

Many companies are allowing their employees to work from home as global health and remote work becomes a universal focus.

With more employees working from home, we expect to see a significant increase in the need and usage of chat/collaboration tools to accomplish business objectives.

Making Teams available for everyone

Teams is a part of Microsoft/Office-365. If your organization is licensed for Office-365, you already have it. But we want to make sure everyone has access to it during this time. Here are some simple ways to get Teams right away.

Keeping Teams up and running

You and your team depend on our tools to stay connected and get work done. We take that responsibility seriously, and we have a plan in place to make sure services stay up and running during impactful events like this.

Adjusting to remote work can be a challenge. We get it, and we are here to provide the tools, tips, and information you need to help you and your team meet that challenge. We’re inspired by the agility and ingenuity that impacted schools, hospitals, and businesses have shown throughout COVID-19, and we are committed to helping organizations everywhere stay connected and productive during this difficult time.

1.Is this another Free Trial?

Microsoft has made a number of program changes to enable customers who do not have access to Office 365 and Teams today to start using Office 365 and Teams as a hub for collaboration that brings together chat, meetings, and Microsoft 365, all in one place.

This Trial supersedes all previous Trial offers.

2.What is included in the trial?

This includes

  • Exchange Online Plan-1
  • Flow for Office-365 Plan-1
  • Forms
  • Microsoft Planner
  • Microsoft Whiteboard
  • Microsoft Teams (Teams1, Teams IW)
  • Office Online
  • PowerApps for Office-365 Plan-1
  • SharePoint Online Plan-1
  • Stream
  • Sway
  • Yammer Enterprise

3.How many licenses are included in the trial?

  • 1-300 Licences for Microsoft 365 Business Basic
  • 300-3,000 for Office 365 E1

4.Can add-on SKUs be sold alongside the Office-365 E1 Trial?

Yes, you can include most add-on SKUs to the Office-365 trial. These add-ons would be available at their regular price and would continue to be active and paid no matter the outcome of the trial.

5.What price will Microsoft bill in Month 7?

Microsoft will honor the catalog price as set at the time of promo start for the duration of the annual commitment. This means if a customer starts the promo on June 1st, 2020, their price in Month 7 would be the monthly price on June 1st, and not the price on January 1st, 2021.

6.Which customers are not eligible for the trial?

Organizations are not eligible for the trial if:

  • They have subscribed to Office 365
  • They are a Syndication Partner customer
  • They are a GCC, GCC High, DoD or EDU customer

7.How long does the trial last?

The trial last for six (6) months from the date it is initiated. The duration is tracked from the first user, meaning that a user added to a trial that was initiated five months ago will only have one month of free usage remaining. For example, if a partner initiated the trial on 25-Jan-2020, the trial would expire on 24-Jul-2020 for all users assigned subscription licences.

8.When does the trial start?

The trial starts on the date that the trial is initiated for the tenant, not when the users are assigned licenses.

9.What happens to user data when the trial ends?

Customers have the choice to end the trial, if not it will be converted to a paid subscription
